The Hollywood Reporter held its annual Women in Hollywood breakfast yesterday to coincide with the release of its annual issue (the 19th) on the most powerful women in the business. Not surprisingly, the list is pretty white. The only woman of color in the top ten is Oprah. Other women of color include: Debra Lee, President of BET at 33; Christina Norman CEO of OWN at 57; Shonda Rhimes at 59; Nina Shaw at 81; Vanessa Murchison at 91.

Other things of note creative women did not rate very highly. Angelina Jolie is the first actress who appears at number 26 followed by Sandra Bullock at 29 and Kathryn Bigelow is the first and only director at 53.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has announced the individuals who will receive the 2010 Kennedy Center Honors.

Recipients to be honored at the 33rd annual national celebration of the arts include singer and songwriter Merle Haggard; composer and lyricist Jerry Herman; dancer, choreographer and director Bill T. Jones; songwriter and musician Paul McCartney; and producer, television host and actress Oprah Winfrey.

Much has been made of Obama's birthday being a lonely event. First Lady Michelle Obama and daughter Sasha are in Spain while oldest daughter Malia is off to summer camp. But the president, who went to spend the night at his personal residence in Chicago, didn't spend his birthday alone. Instead, almost immediately after landing in Illinois, Obama went out to dinner with talk show mega-star Oprah Winfrey and her long-time friend Gayle King.

Obama, Winfrey and King dined at the popular Graham Elliot, which describes itself as the first 'bistronomic' restaurant - a term used to describe four-star, casual dining.

Winfrey famously came out in support of Obama during the 2008 election. Like Vogue editor Anna Wintour, who recently hosted the president at a Democratic party fundraiser, Winfrey has been a long-time supporter of the president.

But the visit is not all play and no work. Obama is back home to raise money for Illinois Senate candidate Alexi Giannoulias and end his automaker bailout victory tour.

The two most-discussed talk-show hosts aren't talking – to each other, that is.

In his first interview since NBC's recent late-night programming fiasco, Jay Leno told Oprah Winfrey that he hasn't spoken to ousted Tonight Show host Conan O'Brien throughout the public-relations nightmare that ended with O'Brien's Jan. 22 departure from NBC.

Leno, who will appear on Thursday's Oprah Winfrey Show – filmed on the Jay Leno Show set in Burbank – told Winfrey he was tempted to reach out to O'Brien, but "it didn't seem appropriate."

Leno, who in March is set to return to the 11:35 p.m. program he hosted for 17 years, said he prefers to "let things cool down" before approaching his former NBC colleague, adding "maybe we'll talk, you know."

When O'Brien took his last curtain call, it followed several shows sprinkled with barbs aimed squarely at Leno. Leno told Winfrey that while the jabs may have stung, "They were jokes. And that's okay."

Likening the banter to a blood-sport, Leno said, "It's like being a fighter and say when you got punched in the head, did it hurt? Well, yeah. But you're a fighter. That's what you do."

Fox News Channel’s Glenn Beck debuted at No. 2 in the poll.

Jay Leno, who was No. 1 last year, fell to No. 3. Harris Interactive stressed that the poll was conducted before drama engulfed NBC’s late-night schedule, ending with Conan O’Brien leaving the network and Leno set to return to “The Tonight Show” on March 1.

Harris said two celebrities fell off last year’s Top 10: Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert and Steve Carell of NBC’s “The Office.”

Winfrey is the favorite celebrity of women, and Leno is the favorite of men.

Beck is the favorite of viewers 64 and older.

Conan O’Brien is the favorite of people 18 to 32.

Winfrey is the favorite of people 33 to 44 and 45 to 63.
