Susan Boyle stopped singing mid-song on The View this morning, apparently due to a frog in her throat. She cringed, paused, and tried to signal for the music to stop before Sherri Shepherd and Whoopi Goldberg swooped in. Boyle was on the show to promote her new album, The Gift, but she couldn’t make it through “O Holy Night.”

Susan was set to sing "Hallelujah" on the show tomorrow. But a rep for the show confirmed to TMZ she won't be appearing this week -- no word yet on rescheduling.

A source says Susan missed a flight to L.A. today. She was supposed to tape her performance on the "DWTS" set this evening.

A rep for Boyle tells TMZ, "Susan Boyle has had to cancel her performance on 'Dancing with the Stars' as her doctor advised her not to sing due to a severe throat infection. Susan is very upset at letting her fans down. Their continued support means so much to her."

Out to visit a friend’s house, Susan Boyle was spotted strolling around London, England earlier today (February 3).

A British newspaper says singing sensation Susan Boyle was surprised by an intruder as she returned from recording a charity single for Haiti.

The Sun tabloid says Boyle, who shot to stardom on the back of her appearance on "Britain's Got Talent" last spring, ran into the man as she returned to her home in the small Scottish village of Blackburn.

Local police did not directly confirm the report, but when asked about Boyle they said that they were called to Blackburn Tuesday night "following reports of a disturbance."

Police said Wednesday that the unidentified man was detained and but has since been released. A representative for the singer could not immediately be reached.
