Kristen Stewart may have her chance to make a name for herself as an action hero. Rumor has it that she may be the next in line to replace Angelina Jolie in the James McAvoy-led sequel to Wanted.

In case you still haven't seen it yet, consider this a SPOILER ALERT. While speculation has been ongoing about the sequel to the 2008 action flick, much of the attention has been given as to whether or not Angelina Jolie would be returning. It seemed unlikely, since her character, Fox, was killed off in the first film, but, hey, it's based on a comic book, and you know characters never stay dead in comic books.

The comic's creator, Mark Millar, seemed enthusiastic about creating a new assassin character for the sequel. "They killed off the most recognizable character, but I thought it was great to do that. [...] It was so ballsy to kill off the one person you didn't expect to die," he told MTV News.

If she's hired - or if the project even goes beyond just talks - Stewart would play "a young, ass-kicking assassin in the Fraternity" who goes up against McAvoy's reluctant assassin from the first film.

"What they're talking about is just moving on with the story and doing it properly," Millar added. "Just bringing in another cool character as this world opens up with all the different fraternities out there all across the world. This could change at any moment, but the last I heard two weeks ago, was that was the plan moving forward."
