Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Buy House on Greek Island of Santorini

Hollywood couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent 5.5 million euro on a house on the Greek island of Santorini, which is famous for its black sand beaches. The actors signed the purchase contract for the luxurious villa island at the end of last month and they are already planning improvements for the property, the Greek tabloid newspaper Espersso reported recently.

In order to be able to host guests, Pitt and Jolie plan on constructing additional buildings in the typical architectural style of the island. The villa stands on an area of 14 dekares (14,000 square metres). The property, according to the media, also boasts a helicopter pad, two swimming pools and an open-air theatre.

Santorini is a volcanic island located in the southern Aegean Sea, about 200 kilometres south-east from the Greek mainland. It is the largest island of a small, circular archipelago, which bears the same name and forms the southernmost member of the Cyclades group of islands.
