Paul Rudd the new Tom Hanks?



French-born star Stephanie Szostak got the role of a lifetime when she was cast as Paul Rudd's idealistic girlfriend in the hilarious Dinner for Schmucks.

Szostak told Parade.com what she really thinks of her leading man and how Steve Carell kept her laughing on and off set.

On teaming up with Steve Carell and Paul Rudd.
"It was amazing for me. It was my biggest role in such a big movie and they were incredible. They really made me feel welcomed."

Paul Rudd as a leading man.
"I think he's incredible. I'm a big Paul Rudd fan. I loved him in the Shape of Things and Diggers — roles that are more serious. He was great. I think he could be the new Tom Hanks."

Why Carell's eccentric character left her with mixed emotions.
"Steve made me laugh and cry at the same time. He just breaks your heart and at the same time, you can't believe what he does."
