Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes: Splitsville
Adding another marriage to the Hollywood casualty count, Kate Winslet and her husband Sam Mendes are getting divorced.
The “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” actress and her director husband have filed paperwork to dissolve their 7-year marriage.
Kate and Sam have a son named Joe, while Kate also has a daughter named Mia from her first marriage to Jim Threapleton.
A rep for the couple released a statement saying, "They are saddened to announce they separated earlier this year. The split is entirely amicable and is by mutual agreement. Both parties are fully committed to the future joint parenting of their children."
