Courteney Cox doesn't want a divorce
Courteney Cox is speaking out for the first time about her split with husband David Arquette.
"I don't know what will happen, but this is not like we're getting divorced," Cox says in a new interview with TV Week. "This is a separation and I think that takes a lot of courage . . . Whatever is supposed to happen will be the best thing for us."
Still, Cox acknowledges that she and her husband of 11 years are no longer on the same page. "Sometimes you just realize 'Wow, we actually have grown apart," she says.
Referring to an interview that Arquette did with radio host Howard Stern, which aired right after their split was announced (and for which he later apologized), Cox said, "[David] is a kook. It's not shocking and Howard Stern he loves him and I'm a fan of Howard Stern . . . David is an entertainer and I'm sure the people who listen to the radio are entertained by his stories."
While her husband – who said the couple were going to take their daughter Coco, 6, trick or treating this Halloween weekend – was talking to Stern, Cox was apparently leaning on her best Friends costar, Jennifer Aniston.
"We just have fun, we laugh, we're inseparable and it's great," Cox says. "It's funny, a lot of really close friends are kind of going through this right now or like Jennifer [who] has gone through it. I don't know what's going on in the planets or what, but things are being shaken up and I don't know what's going to happen, but, yeah, Jennifer has been amazing for sure."

David Arquette Continues to talk about Courteney and Jen Aniston
David Arquette still can't stop talking about his personal life.
Even though he was ushered down the carpet last night at The Legend of Hallowedega premiere by a publicist who insisted on no personal questions, David brought up Courteney himself inside while introducing the film...
Onstage at Beacher's Madhouse to introduce the short film he starred in, Arquette couldn't help himself. "I got to go to Alabama [to film], where my wife is from," he began, before breaking into laughter, "You gotta laugh and have a good time with it...no matter what the f--k's going on."
David said he "got Method" for the role, which he plays a crazy ghost hunter. He went to share a story about a time he stayed out all night before shooting the next day, and how he hitchhiked in a coincidentally named town.
"It was in Aniston, which was an omen," he said of the long night, "I took a picture and sent it to Jen."
Although David's heading to Vegas today with his Beacher's Madhouse partner, Jeff Beacher, he'll be back to take daughter Coco trick-or-treating with Courteney on Sunday.
"Coco is going to be a bumblebee and Courteney is going to be a sunflower...I'll put on a flower suit," he told reporters at the party, which was sponsored by Amp Energy Juice.
Nice to see he doesn't mind donning a girly costume for the sake of his family.

Zach Braff to appear on Cougar Town
How do you get Zach Braff on ‘Scrubs‘ creator Bill Lawrence’s ‘Cougar Town‘? There’s an app for that!
No, I’m being quite literal. Fancast has learned that Braff will play a role in the Thanksgiving-themed episode of the ABC comedy when Laurie (played by Busy Phillips) busts out a cell phone “app” that features the ‘Scrubs’ alum.
Specifically, the Zach Braff Appetizer App generates ideas for, well, appetizers. So as Laurie repeatedly works the widget, an animated Braff will be seen and heard offering menu suggestions.
Braff’s admitted unusual app-earance (yeah, I had to use that gem again), which is set to air November 24, fulfills a promise Bill Lawrence made this summer, when he told E! Online that “either Sarah Chalke, Zach Braff, John C. McGinley, Donald Faison or Judy Reyes will be on ['Cougar Town'] this year.” Neil Flynn (aka Janitor) isn’t in play, of course, because he currently stars as Mike on ABC’s ‘The Middle.’
Already, ‘Cougar Town’ of course stars onetime ‘Scrubs’ guest Courteney Cox and recurring player Christa Miller, and just this week Ken Jenkins (aka Dr. Kelso) turned up as Jules’ father. The medical comedy also played in the background of a Season 1 episode.
