Following her split with boyfriend Stuart Townsend, Hollywood superstar Charlize Theron has decided to rent their Malibu beachhouse for USD 50,000 a month.

The Oscar-winner used the house for romantic weekends with Irish actor, who moved out after the end of their nine-year-long relationship in January this year. He is a co-owner of the house.

The three-bedroom cottage-style home comes with a much sought-after ocean front location, Daily Mail reported.

According to Realtor.com the 2,095 square foot 1930 house sits on the sands of Malibu in one of the Californian towns most exclusive communities.

A deck area for entertaining guests backs onto a stretch of golden sand, while in the master bedroom the occupants can relax in a Jacuzzi.

The house is on the iconic Pacific Coast Highway, with two private parking spaces for vehicles.
Pictures show a well-stocked modern kitchen, with photos of pet dogs on the wall and pots of sunflowers to brighten the area.

Plants and trees are scattered around the indoor seating area, which boasts a modern pared-down style.

Theron, 34, also owns another home in Los Angeles, where she spends much of her time when not away filming.

The actress has since been linked to actor Keanu Reeves after they were spotted hugging in the street last month. They starred together in 'The Devil's Advocate' in 1997 and 'Sweet November' in 2001.

Stepping out for some pampering, Charlize Theron was spotted leaving a nail salon in Beverly Hills, California on Friday (June 18).

As Irish actor Stuart Townsend nurses a broken heart rumors are circling that his former partner Charlize Theron and old buddy Keanu Reeves have become a couple.

Reeves, who is known in the industry as a genuinely caring guy, is said to be helping the actress Sandra Bullock (who starred alongside him in 'Speed 2') as best he can as she works her way through her divorce.

Charlize Theron‘s relationship with actor Stuart Townsend seemed solid when she awed the Academy with her portrayal of serial killer Aileen Wuornos and won the Oscar. The two never officially tied the knot because they were waiting for same-sex couples to have the right to do the same. Still, married gals Sandra Bullock, Helen Mirren, and Meryl Streep better watch out. Especially Sandra, since we have a hunch she is going to win. We’d really hate to see her and Jesse James dunzo.

The Hurt Locker star Jeremy Renner has reportedly laughed off rumors that he is dating Charlize Theron, but admitted that the pair are "crazy" about each other.

The 39-year-old - who has scored a 'Best Actor' nomination at this weekend's Academy Awards for his role in the war drama - starred alongside Theron in 2005's North Country.

Speaking to People, he said: "We're just friends. We're crazy about each other. I can go hang out with her and play her piano and sip Scotch."

Renner also spoke about how he is coping with his new fame, saying: "I sleep when I'm tired, eat when I'm hungry and shower when I stink. A caveman mentality, but it's working for me."

The 2010 Academy Awards will be held Sunday, March 7 at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre.

Hollywood star CHARLIZE THERON has ended her nine-year relationship with Irish actor STUART TOWNSEND, according to a British report.

The South African beauty has been dating the Shooting Fish star since they met on the set of 2002 movie Trapped.

But U.K. newspaper the Mail on Sunday claims the couple has now parted ways, with Townsend allegedly moving out of their shared home in the Hollywood Hills.

The report follows a stream of rumours about their relationship after Theron was recently spotted out in public without the beloved antique ring she wears to show her commitment to Townsend.

A source tells the publication, "They had become more like brother and sister than lovers. It was she who ended it. Charlize has remained in their main home in the Hollywood Hills while Stuart has moved all his stuff into their Malibu beach home that they own together. They are sorting out their financial affairs at the moment, as they have been together for so long that many of their financial affairs are intertwined.

"She truly loved Stuart but the relationship ran its course. He is heartbroken but she is insisting it is all over."

In a recent interview Townsend admitted he considered the Oscar-winner his wife, even though they never legally married. He said, "We consider ourselves husband and wife. We love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together."
