Jennifer Aniston was so mortified by Chelsea Handler's dig at her nemesis Angelina Jolie that America's sweetheart has decided to distance herself from the loudmouth comedian and keep her at an arm's length.

"Jen and Chelsea haven't officially fallen out but they certainly won't be going on vacation together for a long time unless Chelsea promises to never talk about Angelina again," a friend of Chelsea's tells me. "She understands that what Chelsea did was out of loyalty, but it didn't help. In fact, it made things worse."

What Chelsea did do was brand Angelina Jolie a home-wrecking whore! "She can rescue as many babies from as many countries as she wants to," Chelsea said during a recent performance. "I don't f***ing believe you ... she gives interviews, 'I don't have a lot of female friends.' Cause you're a f***ing c**t ... you're a f**king b***h."



Unfortunately the remarks came just weeks after spending Thanksgiving with Jennifer in Mexico.

"Jen is a very private person," a friend of Aniston's tells me. "It's one thing to crash Angelina in private; it's another to do it in public. Chelsea should have known better and is feeling Jen's cold shoulder for her mistake."

Last night, on her talk show, Chelsea addressed the scandal and insisted that her trash talk had nothing to do with her friendship with Jennifer Aniston.

Comedian Chelsea Handler joined the actress at her favourite holiday spot in Los Cabos, Mexico. The former Friends star, 41, and the 35-year-old chat show host sunbathed poolside at a resort in equally revealing bikinis.

During Tuesday night's taping of her show Chelsea Lately, the host took aim at Angelina Jolie...just mere moments before guest Jennifer Aniston came out!

During her intro, Handler, 35, looked through the latest issue of US Weekly, which featured a story about Jolie, also 35. "(The article) talks about how she's so fun with her kids -- all 18 of them," Handler joked.

Handler then went on to talk about quotes from Jolie in the magazine, including one about a moment with her son Maddox during the filming of her summer hit Salt. One quote from Jolie read: "He's fascinated by the military, so I put on a NATO uniform and said, 'Someone tell Mad there's an officer here who wants to say hi.'"

That story prompted more wisecracks from Handler. "What a fun mom! You are so fun kitty cat. You go girl!" she said, sarcastically. "You're evil and everyone knows it... Thank you for being here. We're going to be right back with Jennifer Aniston!"

While Aniston herself made no comment about the Jolie intro, she did talk about her own tabloid moments. The Switch star recalled to Handler a particular headline that really amused her. "I think the best was 'Yes, I Am Having a Baby!'" she said.

Kathy Griffin finally appeared on Chelsea Lately and naturally the ladies brought on the major LOLs.

Romantically, they have ended their relationship but professionally they are still tangled since Chelsea is hosting a show which is under Ted's company.

It is now confirmed that Chelsea Handler and boyfriend of four years Ted Harbert are no longer together. A rep of E!, the network where she hosts "Chelsea Lately", has released a statement to Us Magazine, saying that the couple no longer lives under the same roof.

"The couple is no longer residing together. Ted has nothing but the highest regard for Chelsea both personally and professionally," the rep said. Ted in fact is the President and CEO of Comcast, the company that owns E!.

The first word about their break-up surfaced in summer 2009 but the couple denied it. Then on Monday, January 25, Gawker reported that Chelsea has initiated a break-up and moved out of the house they shared.

Chelsea Handler and Ted Harbert began dating in 2006 when she transitioned from being the host of "The Chelsea Handler Show" to "Chelsea Lately".
