Here's one bit of publicity Angelina Jolie probably doesn't appreciate coming out while she's promoting her new action film,"Salt."

The salacious new X-rated photos in the Aug. 9 issue of the Star, allegedly taken by a friend whom she used to get high with.

In some shots Angelina Jolie sports S&M props, black tape over her nipples and a dog collar on her neck. Others show her during a 14-hour heroin-smoking bender.

"The photographs are a startling reminder to Angelina of a period in her life I'm sure she wants to forget, a shady piece of her history that she's kept hidden away, even from Brad," Andrew Morton, author of Angelina: An Unauthorized Biography," tells the Star.

On the other hand, maybe Angie's boring do-gooder, devoted mother-of-six routine is getting a little stale.

Maybe her image could use a little of the old naughty Angie, who used to make out with Billy Bob Thornton on red carpets, jump into swimming pools after awards shows, kiss her brother James Haven on the mouth, and openly talk about her knife collection, blood vial jewelry and bisexuality.
