Jennifer Aniston has reportedly splashed out $4000 on a Buddha statue that she talks to.

The actress has been interested in spirituality for many years, and is particularly intrigued by Buddhism. The religion is centred around personal spiritual development, with followers keen to discover the true meaning of life.

Jennifer apparently fell in love with the statue while shopping, even though it weighs 500lbs.

"She’s been bringing it flowers every morning," a source said.

"Some days she even reads poetry to the guy. But she knows the statue won’t give her any answers, so it’s not like she’s gone bonkers."

Jennifer apparently finds discussing her issues with the figure relaxing, and thinks it is good for her to express her hopes and fears out loud.

"It just makes her feel good to ask questions – and she says she likes talking to the Buddha because he never cuts her off or asks for an autograph," the insider told National Enquirer magazine.
