M. Night Shyamalan tells reporter: "If I thought like you I would kill myself"
These videos are from Mexico city's press conference for The Last Airbender with Jackson Rathbone (<3) and M. Night Shyamalan taken by a fansite. The above video is a MUST WATCH. Basically Shyamalan rips a reporter a new one after she asks him if he's selling out in order to win back the audience he lost with his previous flops because they have lost their faith in him. He goes off saying "If I thought like you I would kill myself" and goes on to tell her that her point of view is crass, dismissive and cynic.
My bb Jackson butts in in the end and defends him, he looks very angry.
More cool/tough questions after the jump. Neither seem very confortable with some of the reporters. And neither of them disguised their feelings, especially Jackson.
Also, Shyamalan talks about being close to directing Harry Potter.
Jackson answers if he's ready to choose between music or films.
In this vide a reporter asks Shyamalan why is there always the theme of race superiority in his movies, especially living in a country that thinks it's superior to the rest of the world. Jackson shakes his head, rolls his eyes, Shyamalan avoids the question. Jackson then talks about training for the movie. He seems clearly upset with the tough questions for Shyamalan. (to be honest that question was a litle out of place).
Shyamalan talks about almost working in Harry Potter, and adapting a cartoon into a more serious live action movie. He praises Jackson for being a top contender for two separate roles. Jackson lights up and feels very flattered, thanks him in the end of the video.
In this video Jackson talks about working with Shyamalan. He has nothing but great things to say about him, especially after such tough questions from the reporters. It seems like Jackson is extremely grateful to him for the opportunity of starring in his movie. Wait to see the end of the video, extremely cute moment.
