Glee: Sue Sylvester's mother is confirmed!

There has certainly been some fun "Glee" casting over the course of the past year -- from Kristin Chenoweth to Jonathan Groff -- but none if it may match what Ryan Murphy and company have just achieved. According to a new report from Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly, legendary comedienne Carol Burnett will be on board to play Sue Sylvester's mother for an episode airing this fall.

We don't know many details about the character (other than the fact that she hunts down Nazis), but watching Burnett and Jane Lynch bounce off each other may be comedy gold. Do we really need anything else at this point?

This isn't the only story about "Glee" and potential family members we've heard about over the course of the past few months -- Justin Timberlake was at one time speculated to play Matthew Morrison's brother, but that news has been never confirmed by any stretch of the imagination.

How pumped are you to see Carol Burnett back on TV?
