When the rumors of the two getting back together started early this week, many people were skeptical considering it's been a while since they were last seen together.

John Mayer made it clear on his recent blog post that they are NOT together.

"This is equal parts fabricated, cobbled together and misleading," Mayer said. "Let's break it down: I don't think I ever said 'I believe in second chances!' but I can't be 100 percent sure, as it's possible I could have accidentally said something succinctly and to the point."
