Angelina Jolie has been given the title of Best Celebrity Role Model in a new online poll.

Raking in nearly half of all votes on the WENN poll, the "Wanted" actress most recently visited Pakistan as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador seeking solutions to displacement from devastating floods.

While Jolie scored 43 per cent, "Up In the Air" actor George Clooney - who happens to be a United Nations Messenger of Peace - took second place with 23 per cent.

Coming as a bit of a surprise, Miley Cyrus ranked third with 15 per cent - beating out known world peace crusader Bono, who had to settle for fourth place with 14 per cent of votes.
